Here's the main differences
1. Slight exterior differences, subtle.
2. GXP has the option of a TR6060 transmission and diff gear ratios.
3. GXP: LS3 vs. G8:L76. sooo... 6.2L vs. 6.0L.
4. GXP: Brembo braking components.

Not sure if the GXP seats are available in GT. I'm sure the GXP logo isn't available, but that's bfd, naturally. But the leather seats in the GXP are quite comfortable.
Also, not sure if the GXP-included bluetooth package is part of base GT cost either. It's a nice bluetooth set-up. It's about the best I've used, second only to the SYNC by Ford.
6-10k is a good chunk of change, but if you really want a stout 6 spd manual with a 400-hp+ engine, it's the cheapest option available. Compared to a CTS-V or M5 or whatever, it's almost economical. If you're looking at the automatic, not so sure the $$ differential is justifiable.

The blue tooth option is nice, but one thing I don't understand is why Pontiac would take options out to put options in. Point in case, the controls for the sunroof vs blue tooth. I feel like they're making a player for football or basketball game, they can only have a certain amount electronics in the car. Don't get me wrong I love my car but it just seems like they got lazy with putting options in the car. I mean really, one touch rolling the windows down for just the front windows and nothing else, really. I hate how car companies caters to stupid people.
Oh well I'm done, lol, did I mention that I love my car, haha.
There is a website that offers the blue tooth option, not sure if they are a sponsor but if you want the name PM me.

If you don't plan on ever using Onstar you can get an addon. It works well (I have it) and uses the steering wheel controls to make/ receive calls with your bluetooth phone.
Info here:

Buy it here with group buy pricing :

There is a video input. Its not as direct as youd think. You have to buy a special harness that has a normal component video jack at one end and the special connector for the HU on the other. I've thought about wiring in a back-up camera that will show up when I put it into park. Couple people have done it.
O ok. I wasnt sure. I know when you make a call with On star it shows how many minutes you have and whos calling in the DIC.
