bass..what bass..lol...there isnt any. even with turning it up on the amp itself i still dont think it sounds any better. my wife's Jbl system in her 4runner puts it to shame. also the rattling from the rear deck lid when you try to turn it up a bit is annoying. but im not that picky so i can live with the factory radio.

i do like the fact that you can watch vids with VIM etc but thats another $500.00 that im not ready to dish out just yet.

I put in an amp and sub in the trunk..plenty of bass now and you can do all your wiring there. I like it much better than the stereo in my Montana.....

the radio sucks...plain and simple

i dont have any rattling in it but it only has 5400 miles so we'll see what happens.

ive takin it on 3 very long road trips this past summer and it performed flawlessly.

i would still buy one if i was to do it again but i would find a used one instead of buying it bran new.
The Superchips tuner and the VMS Powerflash tune have the ability to flash the car back to stock when you take your car in for warranty work. I love the Superchips tuner, it's easy to use and I can change any settings I want in about 10 minutes.

Still missed my point... no BMW driver is going to be jealous or embarrassed regardless of what the Pontiac does.

I didn't miss it and I agree, but it's still all in good fun. No different than the Mustang GT and M3 hooplah right now.

Now that is funny! I don't know anyone with an M3 that would ever consider a Mustang, totally different market and customer!

is the superchips really worth the money or is my money better spent to have a shop actually tune it??

IMO, A shop tune or custom tune will be way better the SC tune.

I don't have the GT, but I upgraded from an F-body to the GXP. I've never looked back...

Not way better, a little better. Superchips has CAI specific tunes and they just revised the trans tune so my car shifts so much better now. Plus I can change settings anytime I want, with a shop tune you can't do that. If a CAI and catback or axlebacks are the only mods, the SC tuner is excellent. If you have headers or a cam a custom tune is the way to go.
