Default 11.86@115 w/1.74, my best run yet

Went to the track yesterday and ran my personal best of 11.86 @ 115 w/1.74 60ft. on my very first pass. Had issue at the shift points on each and every pass I made. Once I get the shifts resolved its definetly got 11.60's in it. ON my 3rd pass I pulled a 1.63 sixty foot, the car proceded to shift like crap and layed over in 4th like it was out of fuel, ran a crappy 12.09 @111. Ran couple
11.86's, 11.89, 11.96. Had some sort of problem each run, usually shifts. Still happy with the car and lack of mods and still runs 11.80's. If Wes can ever get to the track at the same time I do we can get er fixed.

Awesome times. Glad to see you reached your goal of 11s. Get those shift points done properly and expect the ET to drop even further. Tell your tuner not to get greedy with shortening shift times and make sure you command shift mph a lot earlier than you're doing now.

Very important fact and if you can buy what ever software(HPT/EFI) you have local/phone support.

Could I be having a fuel pressure issue? On my last pass I thought I heard it pinging in the water box, I couldn't really tell as I had an open header 10 second chevelle next to me. I left ok, but, spun for the first time and ran fine till I was in 4th and it started pinging or whatever it was doing so I shut it off at the 1000 ft.

You have to be close if your fuel is stock I'd think.

Good air fuel, but way too much timing if you run pump gas. No wonder you were pinging.
