I think I've read RedhotG8's paying price for his G8 about 50 times now. Everytime it's even remotely relevant it's brought up. lmao

Not to hijack the thread but doesn't the DOD and bushing/mount problems bother you guys? Reason being is I'm looking at a G8 GT as well for a DD. But I'm leaning towards a STI with all the issues I hear they have. Not trying to buy a car for 23-24k and have to drop another 3-4k into it out of pocket.

I have 70K miles on mine and only had to put brakes and tires on it.

DOD doesn't bother me at all. It seems to vibrate slightly when it goes into DOD, but mostly on cruise control. I guess someday I'll cam it up and ditch all of that, but right now it is a DD with a 55 mile commute. And the wife says "no".
