New G8 owner, added another LS to the stable
I added one more LS GM product to my collection yesterday, bringing the total count to 17.3 liters of awesomeness. ('13 Sierra 5.3 & '91 Z28 6.0)
This is my wife's car though. It's a 2009 GT that was traded in for a Hotwheels '13 SS in our area and I actually have seen that car and am hoping to catch them around town to talk to them about it. . The G8 is GM Certified with 26,600 miles and all options except the sunroof. It has black and red leather, and the only mods that I can tell are tinted windows and a cold air kit, which seems to make the hood have just a small gap where it doesn't shut 100% where the box is. Hoping to take care of that soon.
Anyways, here it is.

You must have gotten a screaming deal considering your car wasn't even a year old and probably had a $32,000 ish sticker on it. Was it wrecked or something?
This one has the premium package with the 19's. I checked KBB before I bought it and it is valued higher than what I paid. With leather and the 19's and being GM Certified, it's valued at $26,359 so I'd say I got a good deal.

No mine wasn't wrecked and it was in like new condition when I got it. I have leather too and I think it was about $33K when it was new. The sport package was about $1000 so yours was close to $34K since they didn't go up in 2009.
I could probably get what I paid for mine if I found the right buyer, but I have no desire to sell it because it's the best car I ever owned. The Chevy SS coming out in 2014 will be around $45K but it has the LS3 like the GXP. Good luck with you new ride!

It's really hard to find a GT with under 45k for 20k NOW, let alone then. A local dealership had one (non sports package, but Pacific Slate - love that color) with 42k for 21k around the beginning of the year. I was really tempted, but my wife was like "We don't need two G8's, you can have mine if you want one that bad" etc.

Yeah at the time I did get a great deal, since over the years very few people have had the same luck I did. I have seen some people get good a deal on them though, but for the most part the ones with low miles go for top dollar. My car was rental so I was a bit skeptical about buying it, but it was certified and it turned out to be trouble free. I have 70K miles and all I had to replace were the brakes and the tires.

I like this red also. I found one just like yours in Tampa that was selling for $23,900. I passed on it because it was purchased at auction by the dealer, it needed new tires, and they were very reluctant to let me take it to an independent mechanic. So I ended up with a white one last month. Absolutely the best car I have ever owned.

Nick, Im just seeing this now. I just made an offer on one I checked out today. Just like yours except sunroof. I offered 19K for a 60k mile 2008. I was absolutly blown away when I drove it, and not many cars do that. I really hope to be joining the G8 family (if they accept the offer).
