Honestly, I'll be upset if the GXP bumpers start to get recreated. I hate seeing V6's all over the place with a GXP bumper. Hell I've even run into someone with a GT trying to play off that they had a GXP. To me, it ruins the prestige of owning a GXP.

the prestige is driving 1 of the 1829 actual gxp's produced, regardless
of how many imitations there are.

I tried this route with my gto, and what I got from rk sport was
one super piece of ****, so I'd be gun shy on getting a bumper
for my g8 gt until I saw a few in the field.

Actually probably make your car worth more. Just like when they started cloning First Gen SS cars, etc...

Haha the collectability of the car is too far gone based on the mods. I just dont want to end up going to a show and having everyone else look the same since that was one of the most distinguishable parts of the GXP

Exactly. Make something thats not available in the states. The HSV E2 bumper is one of the nicest looking bumpers put on the VE.

I purchased an entire GXP front end swap for less than this price offered for a recreation. $700 for a close to factory look of a HSV E2 front bumper that will work with G8 hood and look good is the way to go in my opinion.

Any news on the bumpers. I'm on board biz mine is dropped 2 inches approximately and the rugged streets of Houston has taken a toll on mine so I'm open and ready for any bumper. And since I'm purchasing might as well take it up a notch in look and swap from my g8 go front bumper to something different. Let ppl

Same scenario. Doesn't matter the bumper design to us. Just need 30 people interested in the same one to make it feasible since we're only willing to do it in high quality urethane and those molds are super expensive but the end result is factory fit and finish.
