Anyone have have anything to say when comparing OBX headers to Kooks headers?

Hey, check out g8board.com, lots to say over there. OBX are knock offs of Kooks, same design for 1/2 the price. Kooks are USA made, OBX china made. Kooks are nice quality and craftsmanship, OBX a little less, they both get the job done. OBX doesn't offer catts, Kooks offers a catts. Kooks catts pipes will bolt into the OBX system.
OBX are $700+ vs Kooks are $1400+.

OBX headers are China made knock offs of Kooks. Some guys swear by them, other guys swear at them. The OBX vs. Kooks argument has gone on for years across the G8 boards.

While I understand some guys can't swing the price of Kooks, plus a full exhaust, you do get what you pay for, and there have been many frustrated G8 owners caused by **** poorly made OBX products.

When you buy Kooks, or American Racing Headers, you're buying a quality American made product. Just my 2 cents.

ARH Headers are awesome!!!

But they need to be ceramic coated.

I made the mistake, and pulled them within two weeks to have them coated.

Just to add fuel to the fire...isn't the record for a bolt-ons G8 GT an 11.9x using OBX exhaust? Sometimes paying more isn't everything. I'll be going cheap since it's my wife's car.

Edit: the GXP bolt-ons record was with ARH headers. Can't find the video for the 11.9x with obx headers.
