For MY08, only the A6 is available. the 09 GXP will get a 6-speed option, so maybe we'll see M6 in the GT, too.

for what its worth, the Auto has an overall gear ratio of 2.92, but first gear is something like 4.03. That helps get this car off the line in a jiffy.

Hey it's my car on the video .

It ran better then the dyno numbers led me to believe . DA was -840 .

I would like to add all passes where made stock weight and ove 1/2 tank of gas in it .
and just like a GTO if you come out to hard it will wheel hop .

But did you hear how sticky that track was when the car was pulling up to the line?

The tracks I've been to didn't have NEAR the VHT or whatever as that.

I wonder what it'd run on a Friday night Test and Tune at Silver Dollar. I suspect high 13's/low 14's.

Nope mine ran 13.4 stock in the heat as well. Plenty of stock VE's/G8's here in OZ running numbers like that. We have a few guys running unopened 11's

They hook prety well it's a pity they are so bloody heavy.
My times in my sig.

cheers

If a GT can run that fast stock, I can't wait to see what a stock GXP version will run

Considering it has about 40 more hp and goes from 2.72 to 3.73 or so gears ( not exact numbers but close ) who else thinks a 12.9 would be possible? I think the gears will be a huge deal. I guess it depends on how it hooks though.

The 2.92's are actually perfect for the track putting you through the traps on the limiter in 3rd. They are currently the same as having 3.8 gears behind an 4l60e.

Mines getting 3.45's next monday due to busting the 2.92's and scoring the new diff at a good price. I expect to blow the Hoosiers off it now but run an 11 straight up.

cheers
