Couldn't find a set of fuel rail covers that would work, so I decided to just do a little painting on the engine cover. Turned out pretty nice, looks a little orange because of the way I shot the picture, but, the color really matches great. Red paint is fnnn expensive, $74.00 a pint. Still cheaper then fuel rail covers that won't work on this engine.

That looks real nice. I like how you left the silver accents. However, what's with the intake with the baffles still in place from the stocker?

I just clear coated the center and left it black. Is that what you meant?

AH, I just realized what you meant, I'm working on my set up as I am expecting my 90 degree tubing Tuesday to finish it up. It will be simular to the roto fab, but, all polished. Spectre has been out of the 90's and just received them. I should have it finished and posted buy Wednesday. I have to wait til I'm done to finish the incloseure for the real cool air its gonna need here in Missouri. I was just trying a couple of things with the stock box and a 45 degree with the cone filter. I think it runs just a little better and sounds great.

You should have asked.
I just sent a set to a guy in Canada a few weeks ago.
Here they are on a Holden in Oz.

Thanks, they do look good. I thought about cutting the center out of the current cover to make it look simular to what you have there. I didn't want to ruin the cowl just in case it didn't work. What do you normally sell those for?

Here they are on a 2008 VE Commodore. One cover needs to be trimmed to clear the heater hoses....on a G8-GT you'd have to do the same. Otherwise I see no reason why they will not fit. I know the definately fit the L76 engine.

Really nice paint work. Did you do it in a booth? Are there any dust particulates that are visible?
