and the m6 cars get close to 27 .
A 6th gear and the fact that the 2v, 3v heads are ****. I usually get about 17 around town with average driving and about 22-23 on the highway.

back on topic now , the point is that this is a media circus ,yes it was wrong ,yes it was stupid.
but does anyone here think that a 20000 dollar fine is justified when the guy standing right next to him in court might get a 2000 dollar fine.for the exact same thing.
this is the first time he got into trouble .
it is all about media hype and making money more about the money.

Their pretty strict with street racing around here also. It used to go on all the time, but they have cracked down on a lot of it. I don't perform in it, mostly because i want to see myself alive in the next 10-15 years. Not saying that if you street race your going to die, but your giving yourself a ticket to death. You have your usual 1/8 mile run while coming home from work, but organizing racing on the streets is risky. Theres always going to be good cops and bad cops just like good teachers and shitty teachers in school. There are so many cops where i live i cant keep my eyes out of my rear view or side mirrors. If someone was breaking into my shop and i called the cops and they didn't show, then i would be pretty pissed as well. There are plenty of patrolling cars that they can send some other officers to different calls. Man when there is a gun shot call around here, the whole district is at that one place.

Knock on wood i haven't gotten a ticket yet and i don't plan to. I never liked cops and they think their **** don't stink. Cops have a little too much power/control, but what can we do? Just it disappoints me that i hear a car guy go down because that's one less person we all share a common interest with. There isn't a lot of motor heads where i live, so just stay safe guys
