Default Just finished header install!!!

Hey guys we just finished the header install on an 04 gto this afternoon!!! Man was it a pain in th a@$!!! The actual headers went in fairly easy as we have done them before at our shop, they were pacesetter headers. The hard part was getting the power steering lines to line up properly with the steering rack once the headers were in place. Im not sure if it was just because of the headers themselves but this time around it was a real pain in the a#$!!! Just venting after all the bullcrap.......... but all in all it went fairly good and sounded fantastic -jim

I've heard that realigning the ps lines are a headache. Fortunately when I installed my headers I got enough clearance without having to undo the lines. Congrats on the install!

Yeah, just unscrew the clips that hold them to the frame rails up front... it gives you enough slack to drop the rack.

Yep that's right. I basically removed the 2 bolts that hold the rack in place, unhooked the steering knuckle, and as BAAD LS2 mentioned loosened the clips that hold the PS lines to the frame. With that I got enough clearance.

I've heard of this happening but no first hand experience. I think there was an issue with Kooks due to the size but not sure......
