well thanks guys, im not really hell bent on running mid 11s NA, any 11 sec time slip would work. I really just want to do CAI, FUll Exhaust, Stall, Cam and Heads and possibly intake. SO whatever this does will make me happy lol, and perhaps nitrous if i want to go faster

That is definitely not going to be the norm.

Melissa's LS1 did break 11's with bolt on's but also in great DA. middle of summer not close at the events I was present.
the 11.50 runs were at Cecil County and ATCO last fall when it was great air, and they had changed heads/cam and other stuff. 90/10 front stuts too so it hooks a lot better than most GTOs

I know my car ran high 11's in normal air, with 430/430whp and wtq.
Stock gears, 255 drag radials, stock suspension other than 5/16 raise rear pedders springs, full weight. M6 and high 1.6 sixty foots. So if you can get close to 400/400 with an auto I think you'll be in the 11's

you are right about the mid 11's with heads and cam. but i would still say that 90/10's would still be a bolt on

I currenty have a Trans am, i just bought a cam and ls6 intake and am going to buy heads very soon. My goal is to put all of these on the GTO, along with the H/C/I i would also buy a stall, DRs and full exhaust, will this kind of power and mods get me to run at least low 12s? goal is high 11s, but with the extra weight low twelves would be good too. thanks everybody

450rwhp and a "Decent" driver will go high 11's

400rwhp will go mid/low 12's

Both from experience

cuz i said it and no one would let it die at that. and if you go that route a stroker kit is bolted in a superchager is bolted on and my 9" is bolt on and so forth.

I run 12.0 to 12.1 in 85-95 degrees and the time drops as the temp drops. ...thats NA. Come mid August I'll turn an 11 every time.

bs on the 11's. you need h/c, suspension mods, stall, 125 shot and you will see mid to low 11's.

Yank 3600, 1/2" Drag springs and Drag bags that I never put any air in.

I doubt it on the better driver.

i think the OP is going to have heads. and if you just look on the 1st page you will see that it has been done. someone has ran a high 11 in a 2004 ls1 gto with just bolt ons that is a fact
