Ahh, the phantom horn honk is a common problem and is related somehow with a metalic foil airbag sticker in the steering wheel. Mine does it @ 2-3 times a year. Mine once honked at a pleasently plump flag girl at a construction area so I went along with it and smiled at her. http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthr...t=horn+honking

theres another thread on ls1gto where the person had the mystery honk, and does a step by step on the repair. i dont think it was to tape the wires, i think he just got behind the airbag and cleaned the connections and it went away

You probably have a short circuit, probably under the driver's airbag. The airbag should be easy to remove. Take it out and see what you see. Oh yeah, first remove the airbag fuse. The problem could also be a defective horn relay - the contacts could be welded together. The easiest way to test the relay is to replace it.
