Ripshift has always been my choice for years and never seen any issues. I have heard good things about the MGW proxes as well.

We will have Ripshifts ( race ) in stock in approx 1 week for anyone interested in a shifter.

MGW-P is by far the best! I have had GMM (Street), Billet Pro, and now MGW-P. The MGW-P will be the last shifter that is ever in my car. Can't say enough good about it.

Besides that, it is much cheaper than the GMM and Billet. Search Proxses Tuning.

Default another short throw question

ok in the market for a short throw. my car is daily driven but wanted shorter and quicker throws between gears without killing the bank.
From the research ive done, ive seen that some people like the hurst but it requires a little more force to shift then others and some experience rattling. Most of you say Billet is the way to go but that is just too much for what i want to pay.
so my question is will i completely regret buying and hating the hurst? i mean im not looking for the best of the best product. just want something better than stock, and this is of course better than stock right?

THIS.

GMM Ripshift + SNL Adapter + Hurst lever & ball.

I've got 30,000+ miles on this combo, and it still feels absolutely perfect.

I had the B&M shifter on my 2004 GTO; the GMM Ripshifter (race) is on my 2006 GTO. No problem with either. Either one makes a Corvette shifter feel like an old Ford pick-up.
Use gasket sealer on the transmission to shifter bond.

i went to the MGW site and i can't figure out the one you are running. None of them are labeled MGW-P, they only have ones for the corvette and F body camaros. I'd like to order one if you'd point me in the direction of the correct shifter, Thanks.

MGW does not make a shifter for our cars. proxes is on ls1gto.com and he mods the shifters to fit our cars. i hear alot of good about these shifters and will be picking one up for myself shortly.

I have had the Billet Specialties and the GMM Race shifter. I have used the MGW-P shifter in a few friends cars. The MGW-P has a cleaner crispier feel to it. It wins in my book, hands down.

The Mgw in my brothers Z06 is outstanding. It makes my stock shifter in the Goat feel like it came out of a Kia.

Where do you buy the billet shifter? I've tried e mailing them for a dealer and any information but no response.
