Any difference between the 05' and 06' GTO's?
I know nothing about the 04-06 GTO's except that the 04' has the LS1 and the 05'-06' have the LS2. Is there any differences between the 05' and 06' GTO's? More than likely, the 05'-06' GTO will be my next car. I've had 5 Camaros through the years and I believe it's time for a change.

The 06 has different tail lights, steering wheel button lights, faster power seat motors, and an ash tray cigarette lighter in the center console, not all of them have it, as far as i know thats it

'05's have the plug and play wiring for the JHP guages already installed under the cover on the dash. '05's have the rarest production numbers for color combinations... silver/red/A4/18" wheels=only 15 made ...blue/black/A4/18"= only 20 made... The list goes on and on... '05 is also the last year for yellow, the only year for midnight blue, and the only year for cyclone grey... If I get rid of my '04, I'm getting an '05....Probably a Yellow Jacket ....

^^^ key fob..... but I installed the optional kit from JHP.
Also, the 05 is the only year that the hidden hp chip was installed. To activate it you must hold the traction control button for 15 seconds prior to starting the car. Some have reported up to an additional 75hp with it.

the 04 and 05 if you pull up on one lock it unlocks the other, or if you lock one lock it locks both doors. But the 06 also works this way. Also 06 's made through Jan 06 build date have the wires in the center for JHP gauges. Also the 06 power steering is slightly different the the 05, (the pully size is different)

I have a 2005 QSM w/ red interior M6 w/ the hood scoop delete. It's pretty rare, when I'm done with it I'll sell it for a large fortune. Of course, it will have about 200,000 miles on it. Do you expect that will hurt the value any?

I didnt know that was even an option and when i went to a dealer to test drive a black 05 and it had no scoops i thought that it must have been in an accident lol. Turns out it was just abused heavily. 22k miles and the clutch was slipping and 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear had trouble going in. Passed on that "gem"
