Im running it and its ******* awesome, No other words to discribe it.... Monster power.... Im running the 112lsa and it sounds monsterous..... Ive got buddies who are running a bigger cam than the 228R and everyone says mine sounds more aggressive.... Im made 388/373 with a slipping clutch at Modern Muscle..... There Dyno is a bit conservative by about 10whp.... I know guys who dynod there and dynod at other places and they are always 10 more than MM's dyno... So with my slipping clutch add maybe another 7whp and same for tq ontop of my numbers if i had say a LS7 clutch. Also add 10whp for running on a stingy dyno, So im probably above 400whp with my mods in sig.... I went from trapping 108mph to 115-116mph with this cam at the track.... I highly recomend this cam.....

Thats good to hear. My other question was the LSA? Your running 112, and others have said to run 114. Any opinion? Ive heard that the 114 LSA is easier to tune and better for a daily driver. The guy i talked to at TSP said to run 112 also i just want to make sure its still very street friendly becaust it is my daily driver.

That is true a 114 is a tad easier to tune but if you have a good tuner i wouldnt really worry about that.... Since you have a M6 like me, I would go with the 112. The difference between the 112 and 114 is that the 112 gives you more power under the curve were you will need it to move are heavy cars.... The 114 will have higher peek numbers "Maybe 5-8rwhp" but way up in the RPM band and im talking like 6000 RPM which is gonna do you no good. The 112 will have a better and longer Tq curve and better overall numbers through the powerband. 114's are good for A4 cars because they dont really have cam surge like a 112 could have... But like i said, if you have a good tuner you dont have to worry about that either. The 112 sounds 10x better than a 114 at idle as well.... I would go with the 112 if i were you. I have absolutly no problems driving my car on the street.... If you have anymore questions just let me know, Ill do my best to anwser them.

Well it sounds like the 112 is the way im going there. I have to find a good tuner. There is one guy here in town that does the Diablosport tuning. He said he has only done tuning for supercharged vettes and mustangs though. None for cam swaps. Which is why im a little hesitent to use him.
Also are you running the stock heads? Obviously different springs and such but just wondering for power wise to give me a rough estament. By the way thanks for your help breze84.

The guy said he would beable to tune it from the Diablosport... Is that not really possible? There is not anyone around here that does tunes like that. I live in Boise Idaho.
I may have to do a mail order tune huh....

I would have someone that uses HP Tuners to tune your car, HP tuners is gonna be able to do a **** load more for your car than the Diablo.... I would go to an actual speed shop and get it dyno tuned..... Im on stock 241 heads.... Im using PAC dual .650' springs and 7.400 Chromoly rods.... Power wise you should be very close to me which is 400whp....

Its going to be hard to find someone around here that can tune it then..... Im not sure what to do then. I was going to do the instal of the cam and valvetrain myself but the nearest place i could get a good tune would be in Salt Lake City. Thats 4 hours away and i couldnt drive an untuned car that far.

Will the computer beable to run at least ok with that cam? I have heard storys about people doing cam swaps and it runs for 10 seconds and then dies and wont even start again. Thats what im worried about.

i have a g5x3 w/112 lsa...get 112. And don't have some nobody tune it, you'll get what you pay for. Drive somewhere and have a reputable tuner do the work. You'll be very upset if you have a dipshit tune it and it's slower than it was stock.

Just plan to drive to salt lake city if that shop is supposed to be good...you def. should get a dyno tune and yea you should be able to drive to get it tuned, lots of people go without tunes for awhile but you just cant be getting on it a lot lol
