Mine, too. Didn't notice it until after the warranty was up. I've only got 20,000 miles on mine, but the three years from purchase has expired.

Dealer wouldn't warranty mine because they said it was a "wear" item. I knew this was bullshit but they wouldn't fix it, I even complained to GM.

Huge D-bag dealerships name is Lee Pontiac in Fort Walton Beach, never go there. Bunch of assclowns.

I guess the common public opinion is that the material should have been made longer from the factory to avoid this.
