Have to keep burping the system. It's a pain. Squeeze the radiator hoses and keep fillign it all the way to the top. Keep an eye on the coolant. Don't let it get above 240. If it hits 240 shut the car off and let the coolant settle. Refill and keep doing that process. Shouldn't take more than 3 times or so.

Ok here is what you need to do get the front of the car higher then the motor jack it up you can also keep squeezing the top and bottom radiator hoses with the cap off this help releive the air ,these reverse cooling heads do this .has nothing to do with the thermostat.

After it cycles a few times it will slowly suck the coolant out of the over flow tank... Had to do this on my old F-body... Took FOREVER

Here's what I did and I didn't have to burp it at all. Take the driver side hose off the radiator. Hold it up and fill with fluid. Keep doing it until it won't hold anymore. Then connect it back as fast as possible. Then start car right after with cap off. Put air on hot and put cap back on after it gets to temp. Take it for a drive. Squeezing the hose is for suckers.
