Default Just wondering.....

I'm considering a 05-06 GTO and have 2 question...

1. Are there any common problems with these years or things to look for?

2. Do they make 06 GTO's in a 6speed? It seems like they are all autos.

Thanks!!

The only one I can think of is a few cases of the fuel rail covers rubbing a hole in the fuel line. You may hear of a few with a front tire strut rubbing issue but that was more of the 04's.

Potential problems are: strut rub in front, sagging springs in back, the previously mentioned FRC iisue, the stiching on the back seats can come apart if the leather isn't maintained and the paint on the door handles is notorious for chipping..that's all I can think of that I've heard/read about.

FWIW, my '06 has none of these problems.

^^^I'll also add that the gray inserts on the steering wheel will bubble and will need to be replaced. And the stock clutch is a POS.
