It's for tuning. The right side gets a higher load on launch, and requires more pressure than the left side. Ideally the car should leave/launch with the rear bumper level. On my GN I used to run a right side bag only. The guys that ran both bags ran 9-12psi right side and 6 or less left side. Maybe someone here will share their pressures on the GTO.

Undo the bootom shock bolt and let it droop, to let the spring out easier. Soak the drag bags in hot soapy water.

This is how I choose to put the schrader valves

Why 8-12 psi max? I run about 15 in mine on the street and 18-20 at the track.

i know this is an old thread but maybe someone could help me out anyways. Me and a buddy are wanting to put these on our camaro's and we were thinkin about going halve's on a pair where we just run one bag each, but i also see alot of people use both bags. which is better? do you gain more using both or is it ok to just use one? please if anyone could answer i would appreciate it.

If you get a leak it's easier to trace it and if you do any road racing or hard cornering you can get bleed over from one to the other. I run mine at 6 psi normal driving and 19 psi at the track.

Yea you definitely want to run two seperate lines.

First off for tuning purposes, secondly because like slogoat said, under hard cornering or a hard launch all the air from one could squeeze into the other bag.

Can you still put your spare in there with the valves mounted in that location?
