Thats a good question. I will break out the handy Streamlite when I get home and see if I can see up under the cowl and tell where it's at.

Definatly like the hood and the cowl is a great height. Think once I see some MBM paint on it I'll be sold. Definatly would spring for the bolt on though. Dont seem to like how the pins stand out so much. Maybe if they were flush with the hood or something like that.

After nearly a week of driving with this hood, I can honestly say I am more than happy with it. The fitment, and quality are definately top notch. The only issue I've had to speak of is the turbulence that I was getting from air coming under the front of the hood. It was causing the rear of the hood to shake violently at any speed above 70mph. I fixed this problem by taking a piece of foam approxamately 24"x1" and using 3m double sided tape to afix it to the front center just in front of the hood latching mechanism. This created a seal that is keeping the air from rushing under the hood and causing the shaking. I've taken it up to 130mph now and not had any issues. I am still looking for a cleaner and more "easy-on-the-eyes" fix to the issue. I will take some pics of the current fix and once I find a better one, take pics of that.

how much movement do you have on the hood pins ?

old racers trick i know is using weak valve springs(or similar) on the pins to push the hood against the pin to keep it tight , it does make it a little fun to put the pins in

also ive seen people use 4 pins in the back and front

I don't have any movement since I put the foam in the front under the hood. I also put foam around the pins and it helped a lot. I've got another idea I am going to try so it looks a little nicer with the hood off. I'm hoping it works just as well as what I have now.

Are you reasonably confident the pro-flo would fit?
