For the non believers heres a the vid from last weekend with me running against my friends 06 GTO (He has a CAI and Predator Tuner) and was running 12.9 - 13.0's all day.

Why did you think mine was low at 338 rwhp on a Mustang dyno with just shorty headers and a tune? when you only made 330 with LT's??

Well for me its all about the track times. I personally dont really care much about dyno numbers as they are only a benchmark for you to use for modding and tuning.
Obvisouly Ive had mine on a DynoJet and a Mustang Dyno and have heard my numbers are too high or too low. Which one is it?

I like the comments "No way youve run those numbers with your mods". I have and if you dont want to believe it then dont--I could care less.

No your not... Ive been around the LSX scene for a long time and your not making that power with those mods... Neither is the Canadian Goat guy with his mods... Your mods your probably in the 330whp range...

Well then--can you tell me what i AM making then? I had it tuned on a Mustang Dyno and after the tune the numbers were 338/331 corrected. Is that too much? too little? I post dyno grapsh/ time slips and still it isnt good enough. w/e

Your track numbers prove dyno numbers don't mean ****.

Hard isn't the real question. It's "is your pocket book bigger than most"? The GTO is a fat bitch and trying to turn it into a drag car at 3800+lbs.

I had my car dynoed on both a dynojet & a mustang but with different mods. I put down 339 on a dynojet with mods in sig before cam & tune. I then put down 380 on a mustang dyno after cam & tune. Not much of a swing, as far as different dynos reading higher & lower. Your 338/331 numbers sound about right for an LS2 & maybe a little low, but that 386 dynojet reading I suspect. A dynojet will give a higher reading but thats really high. Makes me wonder if the pulls were done right. Those are good runs with those mods, might be unbelievable to people that cant drive but not that unbelievable. I have seen cam & heads LS F-body autos run 12.9s-13.9s cuz they cant drive, or they have shitty tires. The reason your 1/8 mile traps were 93mph is that Lapeers 1/8 mile reads 2-3 mph high, I have compared it with other tracks & everything else there is consistently the same with other tracks.

your right where you should be power wise on a Mustang Dyno... On a Dynojet your probably in the 360 - 365whp range which is correct...

So for me I am only 5% lower on a Mustang dyno rather than the widely accepted 10 - 12% difference?
