My 3.91s came from DiffTechnics. I have zero whine because mine were properly set up.

I got a great deal on them from a guy on the gto board, I bought them with a Harrop cover and the posi tuning kit.

They were a pain in the *** to install, but only because we had a hell of a time getting one side adjuster out of my stock diff. I had a GM tech/drag racer do it for me.

I love them. I haven't had a chance to really beat on them yet since I installed a new clutch at the same time, but the difference is considerable. It feels like each gear has moved down one.

Does it actually make the car feel lighter during take off.. Post when you can get on it a little and let us know the difference.

Stock is 3.46, and 3.73, 3.91, and 4.10 are the available aftermarket gearsets. Most people like the 3.91's. A lot of the higher HP cars go back down in gear because they run out of rpm at the track.
