Shifter Questions
im looking for a good hsort throw for my 06 goat, ive seen B&M, Hurst, GMM ripshift, and harrop
i wanna hear people opinions and see some pics of those shifters, the one thing i really want is a T handle, thats why im leaning towards the Hurst shifter
any help would be very helpful

Most people will say b&m sucks, the handles like to break. The Hurst isn't to popular but some have had good luck with and others have not. The GMM what most people consider the best shifter of the ones you listed. The Harrop isnt very popular and i haven't heard much about it. It modifies the factory shifter. Another option to consider is the Billet pro shifter. I have the billet.

Been rocking a GMM for almost 6 years. Not a problem with it at all. Not the shortest throw out there but you aren't going to miss a shift with it.
I've driven a B&M car and hated it. But that was when it was first released. Haven't tried the revised version or any other shifter.

I would recommend the Billet Products shifter I have the GMM shifter but regret not spending the extra money to get the Billet after I tried one out. It will allow you to adjust the throw and height of the shifter to your taste. Well worth the money.

i finally got a Billet Shifter and got it installed, it was a pain because someone who engineered this car was dumb in designing the dust cover bolts
the shifter is amazing, even on a mid range setting its still really short and the shifter sits a little lower, but its worth it, i know it is because i chirped shifting into 4th gear for the first time, usually its just chirping into 2nd and 3rd.
TOTALLY WORTH IT

i have heard good things about the billet shifter. but what does the shifter have to do with chirping into 4th. seems more like a hp thing to me. just wondering. glad you like it!

Weird i got way more chirps when i went back to my stock shifter lol
Only chirped 4th once though, and it was awesome.
Hell even chirping third makes me happy lol
