How about a price on a complete bolt in assembly (Housing, Eaton True-Trac Diff, and 3.91 gears)?

Wow. How about this. Fully assembled and ready to go with your choice of gear and GM gear oil you are looking at $3500 shipped in the 48 states.

The install kit comes with everything you will need that is considered a consumable.

We do not use used parts. This would be a brand new unit. Everything would be brand new. Period.

You seriously are gonna have to work on that price. I think I paid 500 for the trutrac, 500 for the 3.91's, 180 for major install kit, and 50 for fluid. I replaced all the bearings and seals even stuck the housing in the parts washer at the dealership given not everyone has access to a parts washer. So I spent 1230.00 installed which is basically a new rear. For 3500.00 you could go with an 8.8. There use to be a sponsor on ls1gto that would give you a fully build rear installed for 1600.00.
