Default Kooks vs Dynatech Long Tubes

I'm debating which to go with for my Corsa Sport system. I can get a dynatech with highflows for 1495.00 through LPE, but can i get the Kooks with highflows for cheaper? I'm looking for 1 7/8 size.

I went with the Kooks 1-7/8"....through a catless full 3" with super 40's

Picked up about 35-40 w/a tune.

I went with catless Kooks 1 7/8 through Bassani. Couldnt be happier. Can't go wrong with Kooks.

Was that with a tune or before a tune?

Someone better tell that to Captain Ahab. that damn whale is gonna get em' soon enough. Kooks are cheaper than Dynatechs, and I could just add highflows at some point. I don't want to delete the cats; mainly due to the fact that Corsa Sports are pretty aggressive sounding, especially with a big cam. Cops will love to follow me around.

They through the car on the rollers before they put the cam in, so i imagine he may have messed with the tune a bit but not much. Only mods besides the long tubes were CAI and muffler delete. It was tuned for the CAI already before that because i had it tuned on spray. With the cam I probably gained around 30 due to the headers id think.

Ive had both. dynatech on my ls1 f-body, and kooks on my GTO. Cant go wrong with either, but I like the way kook headers bolt to the midpipe.

I have Dynatech's on mine. Got them on the first batch that was made. Fit was great and fairly easy to install. Took two of us about 2.5 hours to do it. Still look the same now as they did the first day of the install.

Can't go wrong with either though.
