First time installing gauges or anything like that in the GTO. Where is the best place for the gauges to run to the 12 Volt Ignition Switch. If you got pics that would be nice. For the lights for the gauges at night what wire to the parking lamp do I need to use???
Thanks for the help

If you look at the fuse panel under steering wheel it has two places, Ignition Fuse (10) and the instrument illlumn (11). you can tap into those fuses for the power you need .

The best place for a gauge is right in the middle under the column. Open the glove box and on the left there are a couple of screws you take out. You then slide down and remove the lower side panel of the trans tunnel. There is a connector socket there with 3 prongs for switched power, light dimming and ground. You can either splice into the wires or I just used a female crimp on connector to push into the socket.

Yep, both of these guys are correct. You'll need a "add-a-fuse" for the fuse box under the driver's side panel. For the passenger's side connection, you'll just need a female connector. There's ground, power, and ignition all in one on the passenger's side and is fused.
