For 10k over MSRP (12k over price you can actually get the car for) I'd expect more out of those rims.

yeah, the stock wheels look like double *** to me LOL! We should have gotten the factory 18s from Australia. Or at least the current ones should have been chrome.

The wheels are the only part I don't like on the GTO

You got a good point there Tony, the ones on the Monaro look pretty good I think the ones in this pic are maybe a premium wheel option, but they look awesome none the less.

GTO owners can buy OEM Holden/HSV wheels with no trouble,

http://www.jhp.com.au/wheelsrims.php

Even the center caps swap. I plan on getting a set when I get my GTO.

HSV V2 GTO 18" x 8", on page 1. I think they'll look good on a Phantom Black car.

The new Goat comes stock with the VY SS 17" x 8" on page four. The GTO show cars wore the Monaro Series II wheels on the same page.

IMO the 19" VX GTS RIMS look the best .... you see the massive breaks and red caliper through them (on the GTS) and even on hte pontiac GTo it will look gr8. These rims are fantastic in person. even a picture of them on a car doesn not do them justice although it comes close.... so whos got a pic of a GTO with the VX GTS rims.

Well this one is of a monaro XV GTS sedan... pitty i couldn't get a side on one.
