Are you wanting to know the gains on the 150 shot on E85 only?

Basically yes...and is it worth it? How large of injectors are needed. Am I wasting time with in ported 243s? Etc...

E85 will only be worth it if it allows you to run more timing, thus making more power. I'd also do at least 60lb injectors if you went that route. Depends on how well those hand ported 243's are done...it could hurt or help

Non boosted applications are a waste of E85 really, unless you are running a very high compression motor. E85 requires almost twice the fuel to make the same power, its gains are made because it is way more stable and allows you to run more timing before detonation occurs. You will also need a better flowing fuel pump with the larger injectors with fuel rails and fuel lines. As always it will need re-tuned if any fuel system changes are made.

Another Holden?
I'm waiting for the new ZL1 with the 10 speed auto so I can compare it to the new GS or Z06. My COSMOS Purple GTO will go into hibernation once I pick which new car I'm getting.

The new CTS-V's are too rich for my poor married ***. $80ish K is my cap. I really like the Z06 and can get a "Base" one for $82 K out the door... I was so tempted to get one a few months back then Chevy announced the ZL1 and then the Grand Sport (Black Rose of course), now I have to wait a bit longer.

Remember that ethanol carries oxygen that gasoline doesn't. You can make more power with it simply because of this. The higher octane rating is really just a bonus for high compression or FI combos. The downside is the drastically higher required fuel flow rates and the expensive pricing.

Thanx, I hadn't heard or read that. And to add to that...nothing more, lol.
