Have not DDd my GTO in years so use a trickle charger.
You folks in the same situation or find you do not need one.
I recall reading the GTO does for some reason use more batt. power when off than expected from other vehicles.

I had my battery go flat over the winter when I had the suspension ripped apart for upgrades, second this. It just kills me seeing her sitting there not being run during the winter

I plug mine in if it's going to sit for more than 2 or 3 days. I sat the charger on top of my garage door opener and ran the wire to a spot on the garage ceiling where a tennis ball hangs down to spot where to park the car. I use a Deltran Battery Tender plus. It comes with a pigtail with plug you keep on the battery so it's just pop the hood and plug it together.

I have a battery disconnect and it works great. My car can sit for 6 months and it will start right up when reconnected. I'm a high rise apartment dweller and it's impossible to use a battery tender.
