Whats up guys. I sell these here in NJ and I can tell you that price is way below invoice. the markup on the car is only 2 grand. I have one as a demo that I just sold and it had 3400 miles on it and I sold it for flat invoice. its something like 31,xxx

Yeah - it's amazing that the sales of this car are being hurt because Pontiac priced it too low. MSRP is a good deal - especially considering the 'competition' that's out there. But all these guys have to have the 'deal' to buy one - anything MSRP or lower is the 'deal'!

I'll check the paper tomorrow morning when the Ad's for the Dealerships are in the Sunday paper and see if that dealership is still advertising the $199 lease specials on the GTO's. The name of the dealer is Jim Causley Pontiac in Clinton Township, MI. http://www.jimcausley.com

Checking the paper this morning, that same dealership is advertising GTO specials as: $27,846 or $299 per month Lease special (36 month lease) with $2398 due at inception - 32 GTO's in stock. This is a sale price for everyone.

Is it me, or does that SOM Grand Am look more aggressive than those GTO's behind it?

Yes, it is you.

Is it just me or is that ugly blue Pontiac Aztek more aggressive looking than the SOM Grand Am or all the GTO's combined behind it?

At least the Grand Am has "Ram Air"

but back onto the topic...

I was totally for going with a GTO for the 199/mo deal... but 299/mo isn't too great. I'll pass this time.

I bought my car from Causley. When I decided to not wait for my preorder, they were the only dealership of 8 I tried with black manuals in stock in the metro area that would take supplier pricing in March.

In the paper here in Houston over the weekend, Gay Pontiac (Dickinson, TX) had them listed at $28K and 0.8% financing. I've had excellent experiences with Gay Pontiac, and they are half-owners of Houston Raceway Park.

If you are looking for a GTO, there are probably 5-10 of them on every single Pontiac lot here. Just about every color too.

Hmm, a yellow jacket 6pd would be worth $28k... I wonder what the '04's will be going for when the LS2's start getting delivered.
