Default GTO Track times?

What are your best GTO Track times?

Mine's stock Cosmic Purple A4, and my best time last night was 9.51 in 1/8. I was kinda dissapointed, what did you guys get?

I also raced several goats last night, a Black M6, and he had alot of shifting problems with the clutch so I beat him everytime but once he got over it, his best time was 9.41 in 1/8 too. Completely stock.

I thought the goats were suppose to do better than this?

I'm usually on GTOLS1 site, my 1st post here!
So far my best has been an 13.78@103 at Island Dragway in NJ. My car still only has 1400 miles so hopefully by next year will do better with more break in of the motor. There are some that have been in the low 13's all stock.

Yep, he left early but that has nothing to do with your ET. Steve's car is a freak Mine has gone 13.25@105.5. Wish I could have gone up to Cecil when Steve ran this as I had just installed my headers and might have eeked out a 12.9...

1/4: 12.216 @ 112.90, 1.759 60'
1/8: 7.831 @ 89.67

Of course, I'm not exactly stock. Should be in the 11's by the beginning of next season - all motor.

Ah, Steve's car has the "Cecil Mod". All cars run a 1/10 or so faster there. I ran my old '96 Z28 there a few years back on Thanksgiving vacation. It was an auto, 2.73 gear, CAI and SLP exhaust and that is about it. Ran 13.52@104 on GS-C's!! I ran 13.50's about 5 times that day, so it was not a fluke. Could never get the car to run those times anywhere else.

The first run I gripped so hard that I smoked my clutch a little, I think I took about 20k miles off its life span! The second run was the 13.1, after that it got too cold and I just spent the night wearing rubber of my tires b/c I couldn't hook.

Going sideways in 3rd sux. Especially after you;ve been spinnign all the way through 1st and 2nd

It was like crack, I just wanted to get that time again.

I guess so - didn't really care. I wasn't racing anyone so it don't matter.

a 9.51 1/8th equates to approximately a 14.7 1/4....1.55 X 1/8 time = 1/4 ET
