Also don't forget that the scorpio hoods are reinforced fiberglass so they will be quite a bit lighter than a factory metal hood, and anything you can do to delete weight on a 3800+Lb car is a no brainer.

3725 != 3800lbs.
But your right, a fiberglass hood would cut 20 or 30 lbs off the front end. But so would laying off the McD's and Burger King for a few months and that ends up saving you money in the long run.![Winky](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_wink.gif)
Their are some 'other' fiberglass hoods in the works right now that will clearly look better than stock, but considering the stock one comes on the car, already painted and doesnt cost anything extra, why not?? At the very least, sell it to an 04 GTO owner who'd rather have a pre-painted factory hood than buy an aftermarket one. (Keep in mind, most aftermarket hoods fail to compare in fit and finish to the factory hood.)

Fit and finish looks really good on that scorpio hood plus it has ducting to the air box for a cone filter for true ram air.

Nope, if I were I'd be fat @ 128 lbs LOL!! I was born with a hip problem that stunted my growth.
