Bought a 2005 6-speed GTO (Silver/Black) today
I was never thrilled with the 04 models but the small styling changes and power increase for 05 grabbed my attention. I got it for 32690 (pre tax, tags, no dealer fees at all) (As of yesterday they are giving $1000 off). This won't see the mods my Z did but it will still be fun.

Dave68RT,
1. I've been on this website since it began not to mention the ones that came before it... so with that said... go F yourself and find someone else to try and tell what to do.
2. A brand new 2005 GTO is going to look just like the 2005 GTOs on Pontiac's site. It won't look any different except for the temp tag on the back.
3. For those of you that didn't feel the need to be ******** here are a couple pics with the window tint I had installed yesterday...

Mr2002ws6,
The tint on there is Llumar 15%. It is not bad at all at night.
BTW... the Z in the background is my former car. My girlfriend now owns it. The sad thing is that she kicked my *** the other day from a roll. Atleast I did something right with the Z It has 224/228 XE-R, headers, Yank 3600 SS and is lighter than the GTO so I don't feel too bad.

Thanks Caveman. Where were you Sat nite? On another G14 classified mission?
I don't mind being beat my a girl if it's in a car I put together Right now there isn't much available for the 05s in terms of FI so I'm going to sit it out and wait for the LS2 software from HP tuners and see where things go. Twin turbos is really where I would like to end up sometime this year. There is a very promising kit This kit... http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=14922 looks like it will be the one assuming the intercoolers are efficient enough to hit 5-6 PSI with the 10.9:1 CR on the LS2. The into price is $7K which isn't that bad. It should be enough to keep PLONKER in his place in most cases.

No problem. I don't do well with "net police" which is the way it came across to me. Everything is cool

By the way, "paint sealant" they try to offer you is called WAX. They have some company come in and detail it real nice before you pick it up. For $1000 that better come with a week in Vegas with a "personal" sex slave.
For the $3000 + difference between MSRP and what you COULD pay at another dealership, you could fly to anywhere in the country and drive it back and STILL save thousands. (IE: You'd be a fool not to.)
