If I recall correctly, the A4s and the M6s only run .1 or .2 different in the 1/4, and I believe it's the A4s that have the advantage.
However, and this may just be me... I find it a bit funny and odd you'd say that when you claim your 50HP less car ran only .05 slower.

I am the General Manager of Eddyville Raceway Park in Oskaloosa, Iowa and was shocked by some results we had last weekend.
A racer of ours has a 04' GTO A4 with heads/cam, 3200 Yank converter, exhaust, Speed Inc. tuning, etc...went 8.71 in the 1/8th with stock tires. I'm not saying he's a great driver, but the car was way slower than I had imagined.
I decided to make a pass in my bone stock, 2004 GTO M6 car, just a few minutes after him. I was nervous to find out what the car would run, I just bought it about 5 hours prior. I went 8.81@81.82mph with a car that was driven off the showroom floor only hours prior. Had a 2.06 short time as well. The car has a lot more in it.
I was shocked at how well the car peformed for stock, and how close I was to the modified A4 car.

I'm not calling BS... as I recall, it was you who were calling BS on his times.
I'm just commenting on how you said he would not be able to pull off those times without a tune, when in fact he has an 05 with an extra 50HP over you, and only ran .05 faster then you did.
Also, your claim about the TM can't be too severe if the numbers out on them actually have the A4 faster then the M6. Not to mention the TC can be turned off to help out.
Oh, and after checking out LS1GTO, I see you ran a 13.15... so that's actually .1 slower then him.
