Default B&M shifter rubbing floor

I am wondering if anyone is runnig into any problems with the new B&M shifters rubbing the floor on any gto's. Under hard acceleration and hard launches, my shifter rubbs.

yup, mine did the same thing, but nothing that a little cutting cant fix! cut about 1/4 inch of metal away from the 12oclock position to about the 4oclock position and the rattle is no more.

I had thought about doing that, but did not want to alter the body in anyway. I am trying to not modify anything that I cannot reverse.

if you dont want to cut, try using something like dyamat, maybe that might absorb some sound as it will also cushion the "metal to metal" contact
