M6 or A4??????

Mine is a daily driver in Chicago traffic, and it is not that bad. It doesn't wear you out like the muncie in my chevelle did although I am tired of that skip shift feature. With that said, if you want steeper gears, most folks with the new GTO get 3.91's. With and M6 you will have your 2 OD gears to give you a nice RPM on the highway and lots of grunt in 1-2.
The car comes with 3.46 gears so unless you do a lot of drag strip action they should be fine for daily driving and eating the occasional mustang.

Many will argue that the A4 is quicker than the M6 stock vs stock. I think you can't beat an auto with a nice street converter (Vig 3200) for drivability and straight line acceleration.
That said, I think the M6 is much more fun.

the way i see it is, no matter how quick you can shift(and i'm pretty good) you still have to shift. the only advantages about the M6 IMO is the closeness of gears if you have a high revver and the high 6th gear.

I would have to agree M6 all the way. The A4 is a little faster in the 0-60 times but .1 faster there is a $ 1300 gas guzzler tax w/ the A4 versus the M6 which is $ 695 option but then the car drops by 600 + as well because the gas guzzler tax is not required for the M6.
