Default Pictures of my Twin turbo 402 Monaro.

I just thought id post this up for you guys to have a look. Its a 03 model but only done 25,000 km (????? miles). I ran 10.351 @ 138 mph with the "old engine", this one's making about 120 more hp and feels a whole heap faster.

Cheers,

Matt.

I have the same kit with upgraded turbos like you have. I just started the install last night. Do you know how to convert your dyno to rwhp and rwtq? There's an ongoing discussion that those exhaust manifolds will not support over 700 rwhp.

I also am doing a 402, 245cc ET Heads, on and on. For now it's going on the stock engine until the 402 is ready.

I was thinking about the dyno conversion after i posted it. As an example, we dyno stock LS2 engines as see about 220 kw or a bit under 300 hp at the wheels, I think you guys typically see about 320 hp?

556 kw = 745 hp

add to that the differance you guys see on your dyno's and i get 795 hp at the wheels.

Im running a touch over 15 psi and we max revs at 5900 rpm with a little baby camshaft.

We have done another car that made 821 australian wheel hp but lifted a head before we got a chance to lean on it, we had modified the cast manifolds to take a T3 flange though. We are getting this car back on the raod for the customer with about 700 hp until we get the components to make it hold together. We will make new exhaust manifolds when we rebuild it.

So it's safe to say those manifolds can support over 700 rwhp. I knew they could and APS said they would, but there are many doubters. Thanks for the info.

Nice touch with the Alcon's. Nice to see that not everybody neglects stopping.

They are Garrett 3076R with custom made 1.0 a/r exhaust housings.

Max flow of around 550 hp each.
