Default GTO VS. Crossfire SRT-6

So how about a new debate that does'nt involve a Charger or Mousetang? I wonder if anyone on here knows how fast a SRT-6 Crossfire is?

GTO wins. Crossfire SRT-6 is as fast as a AMG Mercedes SLK32 KOMPRESSOR.

13.3 up to 13.6 for the GTO times that I've read. And 5 plus seconds 0 to 60.
pretty tight race. 13.3 and 4.8 for the Crossifre. SRT-6.
Very rare little suckers too. They are selling far less than the GTO. SRT-6 versions are hard to come by. I see Mousetang GT's 3 -4 times a day ow. The 05's and 06's!

I've seen a time of 13.3 at 108 for a stock one so they're pretty quick. I think a well driven LS2 GTO should win but only by a small margin. I personally think they're overpriced.

They are, hence the no see any anywhere! But they are only making a handful of them. Most dealers don't want them. They can't even sell the regular crossfirs for 30k , much less a $45k SRT-6 coupe or a $49k Roadster!

with that trap, they should be in the 12s.

Good competition for a good driver in a stock GTO

Yeah I know why pay 45K+ for a SRT-6 when you can get a C6 Vette which is faster and better looking.

Where do people get that the GTO does 0-60 in 5 seconds? That's for the 2004. The 2005 and 2006 GTO's do 0-60 in less than five seconds. Around 4.7-4.8 if I recall correctly.

The GTO should edge out the Crossfire SRT-6. But not by much. Though the standard Crossfire gets raped.

Because you won't see one at every other light!
Better looking? Wow you should drive an SRT-6 Roadster with the top down and see the stares! Have you ever seen the SRT-6 model?

Yeah I Googled pics of the SRT-6, still ugly.

Corvette all the way. I'd grab a used C-5 in a second over the SRT-6. The Vette makes em' wet.

Vette=Chick magnet.

......and whats wrong with that?

I admit I have 2 personalities, one for driving my T/A with the Loudmouth and one for driving my sleeper SRT-6. Guys run from my TA, everyone wants a piece of the SRT-6! The first day I drove it a guy in a V-6 05 Mousetang shot me a rev!

I drove an SRT-6 at the SRT track experience and was very impressed. They are really quick and handled great as well. The looks are definitely unique and people seem to either love them or hate them. I personally think they are a great looking car that would be a nice change from the Vette norm. Then again I'm somewhat biased as I've owned several corvettes and would rather have something more unique at this point.
