1/4 mile for 06 gto? A buddy of mine use to drive an 87 mustang and got rid of it to get a 2006 gto well hes been hanging out with his mustang buddys lately and hes getting back into that scene but im trying to keep him on the gm side lol.
Anyway what kinda times could he get with a 2006 a4 auto with mickey thompson et streets (my tires lol) 26x11.5x16 he did one run with the gto and ran a 14.0 i wasnt there he said he spun first and second pretty bad. Is it possible for mid 12's with tire?
He would be running at etown so it will be a sea level run.

Well here is a good comparison. My stock 06/M6 GTO with my dad behind the wheel(fair driver), against me in my all bolt-on s2000, the benchmark car which ran(13.71@105 w/2.1 60' at Silver dollar raceway in 05). This was to guestimate the GTO's stock performance.
The GTO pulled a full car length from me in first gear, S2k's front bumper to GTO's rear bumper through 2nd and finally the GTO pulls 3 more car lengths through 3rd and beginning of 4th. I quit at about 100 it was no contest even with my dad driving the GTO. My dad was running low 13's I'd say. I'm confident I can get 12.9's out of the GTO on a sub 65 deg. night.

I ran one on the highway from 75-120 and only pulled about a car. Im about a 109 trap so Im guessing the one I ran into was maybe modded. Maybe not. What is the average trap speed for an 06?

When he was stock he ran a 13.0 at 106. In better conditons at another track he ran a 12.5 at 111. Trending Topics
