Bye Bye GTO!!
After only 6 months of having my GTO, I have decided that I am officially bored and done with it. So I have decided to sell it and look at getting a 2000 - 2004 Corvette ZO6. I figure out that I am not the one for the performance sedan. Its just not workin with me. I did have ALOT of fun memories with it though, but I think that I will have alot more with a Corvette ZO6

Well, whatever the case is, whether you had the GTO six months or only two (which is what those previous threads do seem to indicate), if you go thru cars too fast like that you'll only hurt yourself in the end. I used to do that, buy a car, keep it a few months, then flip it for something else. I ended up having massive "upside down" condition one day, is basically what happened. And then the next car I bought at that point I had to "roll in" like 10 or 12 g's onto the price of the car !!! So I HAD to keep that one for the "full term" of the purchase, if only to pay off all that "negative equity" , as they sometimes call it, and get out from under. So be careful flipping cars too quick, I mean unless you're really rolling in money and don't mind blowing it (what do I know? Maybe you're a gangster or something and have to spend money on things like cars that are not exactly hard assets :-) j/k ). This last time I went car shopping, before deciding on the GTO, my other very close choice was a used Vette (not a Z06; can't afford it). I decided on the GTO however because , for the equal money, I could get a brand new one whereas w/the Vette I could only get into about an '03 or so, w/low miles and in good condition at least, and I'm "leery" about buying used Chevy's after many bad experiences with a "slightly used" Z28 and a slightly used IROC Z. Good luck with the Z06 however, it looks like a really hot car.

My GTO gets a little boring...Put headers on it. gets a little boring again...put a cam in it...again...suspension work...then rims, now I'm at either heads and gears, or a blower. There ya go, boredom gone.
