Default honestly how bad is a rebuilt title pics inside

I found an 04 gto. The car looks mint inside and out. Only problem is it has a rebuilt title. The guy said it was in an accident and he bought it from an insurance company and fix it up with nothing but gm parts. I mean the car looks mint. I dont see any damage undercarriage looks perfect. Everything looks good. It only has 23k miles and he wants 14k for it.

If the car looks good it is nothing to worry about for a true gearhead. If you are worried about resell and amount a bank may loan then you may want to keep looking. My bird has a rebuilt title but I did the work so I am not worried about it. But, at the same time I plan on driving it into the ground. Just look at it real close a lot can be said about the quality of the build based off of the fit, finish and overal paint quality. Get him to show you where it was hit then jack it up pull off panels and look for crappy welds and unsafe unibody repair.

its a good looking car, i think i saw it on ebay.. best thing you can do after a careful inspection is a good long drive, paying extra attention to any noises/ shakes the car may have. best of luck. -g

I bought mine that way. It needed air bags and a few other little things but they all came with the car. Someone had ran it off the road and busted the oil pan and banged the underside up a bit. Couldn't tell anything had happened to by looking.
Mines an 05 with 4500 miles on it, got it for $18K.
My bank said they would loan whatever retail was, they didn't car about the salvage title..
Soo., the bank financed my stroker moter..
