Under the spare tire well, it's actually a crash brake for the fuel tank, but there is a tow hitch available from AU that uses it to support the hitch.

Weighs about 10 Lbs I think, I left mine in.

Dumping the stock exhaust for an aftermarket exhaust system such as Borla, Magnaflow, etc. People claim that they've lost something like 25-35 lbs by just doing this.

Going with lightweight aftermarket wheels is another way to go. You could probably save us much as 10 lbs per wheel if you went from factory 18's to aftermarket 17's.

It does nothing. They stopped even putting it on the cars at some point. It is on all the 2004s though.

That's about it befor you have to start spending money or getting into taking things off the car that I would think you need (radio, AC, etc.).

I still have to remove fuel tank brace,y brace. I am sure there is some manual rails out there that will fit. that would take alot of weight out. I mean hell I never move my seat anywayz

Im running without the gas tank brace, and the skid plate. I'm considering removing the Y bar as it's still there, but haven't gotten around to it yet.

Also have no FRC's but I think the weight there is negligible. Also have LT headers/midpipes that probably saved a few pounds.

There's not much else to save weight unless you want to start removing the backseat or replacing the front seats, which I REALLY do not plan on doing. I'm just hoping that I'm in the 3700's instead of the 3900's but have yet to weigh the car.

Mine weights 3578 with 1/4 tank of gas. Race weight is 3745 with me in it.

The cars are not as heavy as they are made out to be....

What have you removed to save weight - the same things I did? Anything else? Just wanting to see if mine should weigh about the same.
