The interior is kick *** ,probably the most comfortable seats I have ever sat in, including my T/A. However, the car is bland. No brake vents, scoops, good looking spoiler, and don't even get me started on the exhaust!!!!! You bring back the GTO badge.....this thing should look like it goes Mach 3 standing still. Where are the sexy/aggressive lines? What makes it stand out from other cars, even import grocery getters? NOTHING!!! I sincerely had the intention of purchasing one, looks like I have to wait another year and see what happens. Obviously, I'm not the only one that feels this way as the salesman stated that a lot of people has said this. Looks like Pontiac designers are scrambling to come up with something better, and SLP is already at work......... ![Rolleyes](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/rolleyes.gif)

I drove the GTO, auto and manual, for extended drives, and loved it. The styling may be simple, almost plain, but by no means bland or boring. Granted, it's not a car you will find a teen or 20-something being interested in, as the car is not "flashy".
Currently I have an '04 SVT Cobra Mustang, and as soon as I can, I will be getting a GTO and dumping this crap Mustang on its ***.
I say thumbs up to Pontiac new look on cleaner body designs.

My first car was a '65 GTO. I also have a 2002 Cavilier, 5 speed. It's sitting in the driveway next to the 6 speed goat. They do not look the same or are even the same size. After driving the GTO the Cavilier feels like a toy. The 2004 GTO is a by far better day in & day out driver than my '65 ever was. I really don't want to go back to being a silly teenaged kid with a hotrod & not much sense! The slick styling of the new GTO is perfect for me. Yes, I get lots of looks with this pure stock Torrid Red ride. One of the reasons I bought an '04 was I don't want hood scoops, unless ram air, or a big GTO on the rear bumber. Pontiac did a great job. The price is the only issue with this car. That's OK by me too. Mustangs, Camaros & T/A's are pretty common compaired to the GTO's & I like that! Just my opinion guys.
