Default 06 pricing

At a local pontiac dealer, they have 5-6 GTOs that have been sitting there for a while and I am going over there tomorrow to meet with the internet sales lady. just want to get an idea of what would be a good price to shoot for.

Sounds about right. You may even get one for a little less, even.

Thanks for the help guys. The price she gave me was 29,900 after $2K in rebates but said there was some wiggle room. I am headed down there now.

I just bought one for invoice price (as shown on Edmunds.com), then took off both $1,000 rebates (one for not using 4.9% financing, other for non-GM owners) for a total of $2,000 under invoice. If you have a GM card like me, then there's even more to take off.

Good luck!

I bought one yesterday...didn't really expect to. I got mine for $2500 under invoice plus my gm car points which was another 640 or so. They gave me a pretty good price on my mustang.

It was an 01 with 47K. I just bought it in April from a family member.

I really wanted the brazen orange but it was just sold to a guy who traded in his 06 GT.

I'm off to a dealer tonight. Just so I'm clear you guys are buying them for 2K-2,500 below invoice? Thats only 27,000???? If so I'm driving one home.
Please confirm, so I'm sure I'm not asking for too much.
Also is that with or without gas guzzler tax?

How are you guys getting it so much below invoice? I've gotten 3 different Internet quotes and all are around 31K after rebates.

The best I could find up here in NE, was $29,500 out the door.
I'm ending up buying a used 05 instead though.
