Nice and sunny day today, so I drug the cars out of storage and snapped some nice photos of the orange trio. This will give you a good idea of how all three popular colors compare and contrast with eachother.

2006 GTO is "Brazen Orange Metallic"
2002 Firehawk is "Sunset Orange Metallic"
1969 SS is "Hugger Orange"

I guess you could say I like orange vehicles

The orange on the Firehawk is awesome......If the GTO had been that shade, Michelle would have probably ended up with that instead of silver.

I'd be interested in an orange C6 Z06, but I'll wait until they are in the $50K range on the used market. I suspect if GM releases the 600hp supercharged version, several 505hp versions will be nearly given away by all the Corvette guys that have to have the latest and greatest.

Hey, I would trade my purple Trifecta for a SOM WS6, SOM Firehawk Formula, and a Brazen Orange GTO in a second. That's an awesome looking combination.

The flip side, though... when I go cruising in my Formula or WS6, I know beyond all doubt I'm not going to see another one.
