Guys have actually dyno'ed thier SS's between 205 to 235hp to the wheels....So you get a stage 2 your looking at 270+hp which in a 2900lb car.

hes probably an idiot, but to play it safe i would run him from a stop. designate rules, otherwise he'll just keep on going saying it wasnt over like most ricers. having said that dont underestimate anyone. ive seen minivans go 12's, snowmobiles beat t/a's at the track etc etc. stage 2's are decently quick, and if my buddy is right, aftermarket kits that are out there are pushing these cars to some serious power and 12 sec slips. good luck -g

I think they run high 14's stock, so you would beat him pretty bad. But they are okay looking cars.

Yeah huh. I had an old Dodge Diesel truck that looked like a farm truck, and it ran 11.86 at 114. You never know what the other guy has.

Just ask him to see his invoice from the dealer or have him prove it to u some how. Ask him who sold him the car and ask for that dealers phone number... he'll fold fast...

I've raced three, with various mods on each and none of them helped any of them.....I think bus lengths, of 4-12 depending was appropriate....and my 04 was stock at that time too...

And theres no way he'll get you out the hole

I had some friends around Nashville that would do that when racing slow people.

I raced a few of the SS Cobalt's in my stang and it is about equal to a LS2 on the 1/4...and just race him from a dig, when he takes off wait till you see his tail light and then take his *** out! its not hard, everyone I raced I raced on ET streets cause I liek to pop wheelies on the street and look cool, but also so I can leave at 4000rpm and dump the clutch and dead hook.

but anyways, the only chance he has is to get alot of boost, sticky tires and a good suspension. he is going to need near 370 ponies to over take the GTO in stock form. now if you want to cheat have a nitrous system ready to go at the fli of a switch this way if he starts to win you can push your instant win button and take the fools money!
