2005 GTO vs 2006 SS Cobalt Ok this girl that works under me at work has this guy friend that thinks he knows about cars said that his 06 ss will destroy my GTO. First off he first said he paid 10 grand over the msrp so it could take a 600 shot of "Nos". 
So I was umm yea your looking at a 400 ponies vs 205 and theres no way in hell you would beable to spit that much nitrious into your system without killing your engine or your self. But Im putting a bill into a race and just wanted your opinions on this.

thats just plain stupid call him out on his nitrous tell him if its not a 600 shot you want your 100$ Can I bet on who the loser will be also? I need gas money bad..... 600 shot you got to be kidding me

I raced a stage II upgraded SS supercharged when I had nothing but headers and I CRUSHED it....multiple times.
He asked me what i had and when I told him just headers, he didn't believe me....

a stock cobalt SS doesnt have a snowballs chance in hell of coming close. they are offering a stage III cobalt SS now, with 235 hp, and that with a 125 shot of nitrous might come close to a stock GTO if you cant drive your M6.
chances are he doesnt know what hes talking about and youll get yourself some gas money.

Yeah the guys a total tard, he really needs to tie on his helm. I called him out on the 600 shot and he was like no dude I know what I paid for... Im awaiting the race in march lol, I told him 200 sound good, he said that was fine but no more than that.

For arguement' s sake he COULD spray a 600 shot, he' d have to be a ******* ***** for racing for anything less than a grand! Afterall....that' s 200 more than an LS2 stock! 
He won' t go any higher than $200 though, huh? Take every penny you can from him, let his girl hold the cash, but make her ride with you. I read a story like that once before.

ive raced a black one that has an open exhuast, and has a bunch of stickers on the rear window. but even with me on my nitrous tune w/o the bottle, i left her way behind. i was pulling on her so bad that each time i started to get a couple cars ahead of her she would stop racing.
