what is your 60ft time?
post up the time slip.
go in detail on how you drove it down the track, miss a shift, bog, what ever could give more detail on what could be improved on.
also how where the other cars their doing

naw i ran it 3 times firt run i stalled @1000rpm car wheelhoped all down the 1/8mile .Then i went again and hit a 14.6 (did not stall) with thoughs 2 runs i had a air cone so i figured it's sucking up nothing but hot air!!(i had removed the stock air box and put the cone .......So then i was really pissed and said F*%K IT ill put the Stock BOX with no Filter and thats when i hit the 14.2 but in beetween runs i didnt let the car rest run after run :-(

The car was hot each time you ran. Let the car cool with the hood open for about 45min between runs, then only turn the car on to pull forward in the pit and then turn it off as the cars move forward in front of you.
DO NOT leave the car running as you pull forward as the heat soak is your problem , the IAT sensor is located right behind the radiator and will cause the car to pull timing when it reads hot. That will slow you down from a 104- 105mph trap speed down to 98- 99mph trap speed when the car is hot. Just let it cool off between runs and DO NOT leave it running in the pits, you will pick up 5 to 6mph.

Don't feel bad....I struggled to get out of the 14s myself. I try not to take the track to seriously anyways. As long as I don't break anything and can actually drive my car home, I'm happy. Heat soak is probably the main culprit.

How can i put a stop to this HEAT SOAK thing ??????? can it be deleated with a tune or....well how can i stop it ?????? can it be stoped ? oy yea and when i ran the car i had 1,014 miles i had just passed the 1000 mile mark is that good or bad ?

It's a tough call. A tune is supposed to go a long way in keeping your car from pulling all that timing when the heat goes up. Letting your car sit for 45 minutes between runs was a good suggestion too.....though I always found it tough to keep starting and shutting my car off in the staging lanes. Lower temp thermostat may help a bit too. Just a few ideas.

no that's true....try doing a burnout with an automatic '06...
Ya can't unless you zip tie that switch and trick the car into thinking the brake pedal is not being depressed.

I could see a 14.2 with a 6 speed and perhaps short shifting every gear. Does your car "feel" strong through the entire rpm range? That 60 ft is not bad at all, but 14.2 sure is - there's something terribly wrong...
