Well, I have personally had a B&M, and swapped it out for the GMM. I also just installed a Billet shifter last night for a customer. IMHO, the GMM still is the best. The nasty short throws, and notchy feeling of the Billet is a bit much. And people thought the GMM was notchy. For those who say that, try a Billet.

I guess I'll go ahead and say it... The Billet Pro does loosen up a little bit with time. Hell I took it to the track two days after installing it.. 50 miles or so prior to leaving, 2 hour drive to the track all highway (not much shifting) and then 6 hard passes at the track and it feels great!

To do it all over again.. The extra $65 for the Billet Pro and adjustability of it is well worth it. Had I not gone with the B&M 2+ years ago, I'd be rowing a GMM race Ripshift!

the GMM didn't require any "loosening up" which is a good thing. there is nothing to break in or wear different down the road except the tranny. after getting my GMM race I HAVE LOOKED BACK. it's been in the rear view mirror tho at the guy in back of me

Billet hands down, B+M I had was garbage, The GMM race i drove around was longer throws and not linear, as well as noisy as hell, the billet is MUCH queiter than either of the ones i have tried and the throws are short, adjustable, and linear, it is however pretty tight side to side the first 50 miles or so. After that...pure heaven!

I would say no because of the transmission noise that comes from the race lever. It's driving me nuts and I'm thinking of switching over to billet for the shorter throws.

Yes. But if you are worried about some noise, get the street version.

I love the short throws of my Billet Pro and it is hard to miss shifts unless you have a bad clutch. But I am solved that problem with the new Bird Of Prey clutch. Anyways the Billet is notchy but I like that feedback.

The GMM and Billet are the two best. I personally went with the GMM and absolutely love powershifting the hell out of it. Nice, crisp, short throws. The B&M=
